HTMedia’s job portal Shine.com has entered into a partnership with social recruitment platform MyParichay.com. Through this partnership, Shine.com aims to use social media as a hiring tool. Shine.com is run by Firefly e-Ventures Ltd, a subsidiary of HT Media Ltd, publisher of The Hindustan Times and Mint. MyParichay is India’s largest job search and career network on Facebook.
Commenting on this partnership, HT Media Internet Business’s Head (Business ) Amit Garg said,”We really look forward to integrating Shine.com and MyParichay, changing the landscape of social hiring in the near future.”
Through this partnership, recruiters will be able to connect with job seekers, especially in the junior and mid level by reaching out to the personal networks of employees, match skills to seekers in the extended network and also use a referral feature to connect with potential employees.
