Yesterday, Bharti Airtel launched the ‘my airtel’ app that will enable subscribers of any operator to check outstanding bills, register complaints, activate or deactivate services and make payments for Airtel services.
Without paying any extra cost, Airtel customers across various services (mobile, fixed line and DTH), will be able to check their outstanding bills, recharge their accounts and make payment among other services. Besides, Airtel digital TV (DTH service) customers can use this app to order movies and games without any assistance from the customer care.
Bharti Airtel President-Consumer Business, K Srinivas said,”Indian customers are increasingly accessing online content through apps as opposed to the conventional route of logging through browsers. In tune with these changes, ‘my airtel’ app has been designed to empower our customers and help them manage all their airtel services, effortlessly.”
According to a statement from Airtel, the usual download charges depending on the subscriber data connection will apply for downloading the application as well as accessing the application. It further added that, for non-Airtel internet users, there will also be one-time SMS charge for authentication to their respective telecom operators.
