If you want to know more about Office 15, Win Super Site has a detailed walkthrough of the Office 15 Technical Preview.
Microsoft has made Office 15 Technical Preview available to a select group of people under the obligation of a non-disclosure agreement. But since such things seldom work, information and screenshots of the office suite is pouring out. While this is essentially a closed beta, a more polished release for the public is expected in summer. As expected, the interface design has been adjusted for use with devices such as a tablet PC, implemented using the Metro style that appears to be taking over all Microsoft systems.
Office 15 retains the ribbon style toolbars from the previous version, but it is minimized by default to maximize available workspace. The overall interface layout has been modified to make it leaner and slicker, with strong consideration for tablets. Microsoft has also taken the trouble to integrate its relevant online services into the office suite. Office 15 can connect to SkyDrive, Windows Live Hotmail, and Windows Live Messenger and a new service called My Office, all of which are apparently integrated under Windows Live login. In addition, Office 15 can connect to third-party services such as Flickr and LinkedIn.
