In order to cater to the growing demand for gourmet and specialty food items, a new e-commerce site Foodesto.com has been launched. Operational in Mumbai, Foodesto.com claims to have of over 1,500 products from more than 130 international and Indian brands. It has tie-ups with brands such as Fabindia, Down to Earth, 24 Letter Mantra, Nourish Organics and Conscious Foods.

The site also offers cold chain service under which it delivers fresh bread, desserts, condiments, cold cuts, cheese and more to customers’ doorsteps. The products are sourced daily from Mumbai’s popular outlets such as Moshe’s and Santé’s Delicatessen, Bandra West. The website also has a section of gluten-free products and other special dietary needs. In a bid to give consumers a complete tech-cuisine experience, Foodesto also offers Kitchen Tools, Dining Aids and Crockery.
Foodesto has also developed a mobile site, keeping in mind the growing consumption on Internet through smartphones and tablets.While currently the website is being marketed rigorously on social, a number of new brand integrations and product lines are in the pipeline to make the site a one-stop solution.
