A joint report by IAMAI and IMRB states that, by 2013 Digital Advertising revenues are expected to reach INR 4391 crores. The market, currently at INR 2,851 crores is expected to reach the INR 3,535 crores mark by the end of 2012.
The current digital market is 11% (2851 crores) of the total offline advertising market (INR 26,501 crores). There’s been a 25% yearly increase in the Digital ad spends every year. The major contributers in Display ads comprises of Travel and BFSI. There’s been a notable increase in the Display Ad spend by Automotive companies from 9% in FY2010 to 13% in FY2011 to 14% in FY2012.
